Yesterday at Manly Community Centre we had the official launch of our new name, Community Northern Beaches. The new name reflects the fact that we are all about community and are available to help people all over the Northern Beaches.
Early in the morning, new signage went up, just in time for our official ribbon cutting ceremony by James Griffin MP, Member for Manly at 1 pm.
This was followed by our Annual General Meeting where members and guests were treated to the premiere showing of our new short film documenting all the services provided by Community Northern Beaches and a bit of the heart and motive behind the work of the organisation. We are excited to release the video to you soon!
We welcome the election of a new President of the Management Committee, Geoff Stewart. Outgoing President, Adele Heasman, was warmly thanked for her huge contribution over a number of years. She will remain as Vice-President.
