Staff and volunteers hold Festive Lunch for clients

The Christmas spirit was alive at Community Northern Beaches on Tuesday with more than 50 of our valued clients joining us for a very special Festive Lunch. The tables were decorated beautifully, the food plentiful and delicious, and the atmosphere was a happy one as Barb played Christmas Carols on the piano and some staff and clients even joined in a sing-a-long!

The Sisterhood were true sisters to the community providing warm ham, chicken, turkeys, roast vegetables, as well as salads and the most delicious desserts.

Thank you to our kind hearted staff, volunteers & board members who served and prepared food, handed out Christmas Hampers, donated gifts, cleaned up, and greeted people with warmth and a smile.

Thank you to local businesses Millin’s Free Range Butcher, Camelot Party Hire, and Simply Chickens Seaforth who donated food. Thank you to Rotary Club of Manly and Lions Club of Manly for your donations of money to buy supplies for the day.

There are truly too many people to thank individually, however the entire lunch was a real credit to all involved and it was inspiring to see locals working together to help locals who are doing it tough. A feeling of gratitude, happiness and togetherness was felt by everyone involved.

Happy holidays to all!!
