Counselling
Community Northern Beaches offers an array of evidence-based best practice treatments in consultation with clients. Each client is unique and requires an individualised plan dependent upon the issues and goals of that person.

Legal Aid
Family Law Early Intervention Unit

What Legal Aid can help you with:
- Problems seeing your children.
- Arrangements to look after children within the family.
- Property problems after separation.
- Child support.
- Problems with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) (once called FaCS or DOCS).
- We can assist you to apply for a grant of legal aid and connect you with other legal aid lawyers, court duty lawyers, private practitioners, or family mediation services.
Services Legal Aid provides:
- Legal advice and information.
- Finding a family mediation service.
- Finding a lawyer to represent you in an ongoing case if you are eligible for legal aid.
- Helping you to apply for a grant of legal aid.
- Referring you to court duty services.
- Writing a letter, or contacting an agency, such as a government department, on your behalf.
There is no means or merit test.
Centrelink Outreach
A community engagement officer from Centrelink attends the Manly Community Hub Drop-in on Wednesdays from 10am – 12pm to provide assistance to our service users.

Manly Legal Advice Service
About:
Manly Legal Advice Service (MLAS) is a free, volunteer-run community service operating out of Community Northern Beaches in Manly. It is able to provide generalist advice and information about your rights and responsibilities under the law and about legal system processes. Volunteer lawyers do not have the capacity to take on matters, but, insofar as their knowledge and experience allows, can assist you in accessing the right authorities, lodging forms, and being referred to specialist community legal centres. There is no means or merits test to access the service.
When:
- Every Thursday 6 pm – 8 pm, and also,
- The third Saturday of every month, 10 am – 12 pm.
Walk-in:
This is a walk-in service ie. first-come-first-served and no appointment necessary

Manly Business Chamber
The Manly Business Chamber is one of the strongest in New South Wales, providing a platform to help members prosper and succeed through a productive working partnership with all levels of Government and other community organisations. The Chamber acts as the collective voice of businesses and seeks the involvement and participation of a cross-section representative to:- participate in debates on matters of public importance
