Community Northern Beaches is a drop-in centre for men and women on the Northern Beaches who are experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. We are hoping to raise $500 to purchase Kmart vouchers for our clients who often don’t have the dignity of choice in their life.
It may sound small but a Kmart voucher allows men and women who may have nothing to maintain pride and dignity by purchasing their own items that are exactly what they want and need.

Our clients access clothes, shoes and backpacks that have been donated to our service by our very generous community. But sometimes we don’t have the right size or an item can be damaged or not suitable.
The men and women accessing our service are often sadly at the lowest point in their lives. They may have been sleeping rough for 5 years or may have had to escape their homes at a moment’s notice with none of their belongings.
Community Northern Beaches aims to encourage compassion and kindness whilst shedding light on the reality of homelessness in our local area. We have noticed an increase in rough sleepers seeking assistance at our drop-in service and we are currently supporting 31 men and women sleeping rough locally.
